How to Apply & Application Requirements
Applications are accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Selected applicants will be invited to interview with our program.

- Personal statement
- Emergency Medicine Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE)
- Official USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts

Program Structure
Our Emergency Medicine residency is a four-year program with six positions available per year.
USMLE / COMLEX
Applicants are strongly encouraged to have USMLE Step 2 and/or COMLEX Level 2 results available for review.
Visa Sponsorship
J-1 visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE)
A minimum of one SLOE is required; two are preferred.

How many residents are accepted each year?
Our four-year Emergency Medicine residency accepts six residents per year.
How many SLOEs are required?
A minimum of one Standardized Letter of Evaluation (SLOE) is required; two are preferred.
Does the program sponsor visas?
J-1 visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants (subject to change).
Are USMLE Step 2 or COMLEX Level 2 scores required?
